The Jersey Songmiths choir will have a sell out crowd when it performs at Jersey War Tunnels today.
All the allocated tickets for the charity performance have been taken, which will raise money for the British Red Cross.
It is the first time that Jersey War Tunnels has organised a concert of this type, which will take place within the entrance tunnel of the underground complex. Jersey War Tunnels’ Operations Manager, Robert de la Cour commented:
“We knew the Jersey Songsmiths are popular, but we could have sold out three times over! It’s a fantastic response by islanders which will help us raise money for a very worthy cause. We hope to raise a considerable amount for the British Red Cross.”
The Jersey Songmiths and friends concert will take place at Jersey War Tunnels at 19:30 on Friday 16th December. -(ends)-
