Island visitor attraction, Jersey War Tunnels, has announced the appointment of Michael Billings as Operations Manager.

With a distinguished career spanning 28 years as an Officer in the British Army, Michael (pictured) brings extensive leadership, logistical and operational expertise to the iconic local tourist attraction.

In his role as Operations Manager, Michael will oversee the day-to-day running of the War Tunnels, with a focus on providing outstanding guest service to ensure the Jersey War Tunnels offer an exceptional experience for all visitors.

Michael’s military career is marked by numerous key appointments, he has served in conflict zones such as the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan and he now volunteers with the Army Reserves.

Commenting on his new position Michael said: “It is a privilege to be part of such a significant and historic attraction here in Jersey. I am excited to contribute to the continued success of the Jersey War Tunnels and to work with a fantastic team to ensure that we maintain the highest standards for visitors.”
